Library cuts in Somerset unlawful

The BBC is reporting that Somerset County Council is planning to reinstate library services after a recent package of cuts enforced by the body was ruled unlawful at the High Court. The decision is pending on acceptance of a report by councillors made in wake of the judgement, but if accepted, "four mobile libraries will be reinstated, opening hours at 23 libraries will increase and 11 will keep their funding".
